I'm trying to mount my M-Audio DMP3 on a rack shelf and I'm having problems finding the right screw size to thread into the hole on the bottom of the DMP3.

Anyone know what size I need? I've tried a standard rack screw and also a 6-32 I had around, neither works.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks

Just bring it into a hardware store with you till you find the right screw.

Or the handyman secret tool - Duck tape!

OR.......wait for it........Tie wraps!

I believe it's this one T10/32

I have know Idea what they were thinking when they packaged the DMP3 in that box...

Be sure that the screw you get isn't to long! Has to be just right.

I ended up using a M4 x 1/2 and it worked perfectly!! And yeah the DMP3 is just a little too tall to fit nicely in one rack space... not sure what M-Audio was thinking when they designed it!

They must of primarily had *desk top* in mind.

Didn't want to have it lost in the clutter of a big rack, wanted it sitting out alone, all by itself on the "desktop"... preferably with pin spots, and accent lighting

Yeah if you don't bolt them down, inevitably in a big rack ☼Phiittt☼ right down into the back it goes to be lost in a sea of cables.
