Has anyone found a way of getting backing tracks from a computer onto a HD24 with out a fireport?

I have 24 channels of lightpipe linking an HD24 to my computer allowing me to shuttle things back & forth in real time.

If you have a lot of time you can use the Ethernet port.

There is other hardware out there that can do it, but it's bound to be less convenient than the FirePort.

Yeah, I was gonna suggest HD24Tools. The developer is active on the HD24 yahoo group. Lots of good info there.

Yeah I have tried both options. I couldnt get the network connectiong work with ethernet and HD24tools was rubbish, it couldnt send what i wanted across.

In the end I sent each track out the back of the sound card via optical cable and into the HD24. Its not ideal but it did the job.

Thanks for your help.

You may be bailing on HD24Tools too soon. The developer is committed to working with users- go to that yahoo group and post there.
