Cubase Slowing Down my Music help please!!

the Project comes out fine only issue when i render the mixdown,the files sounds in "slow motion" ,i think i messed up something in the timing
i was recording at 16/48 and my project started getting too heavy so i decided to go down to 16/44.1, i was getting clicks and pops,but something got messed up in the process so now when i start a project ,it sounds fine ,just when i render ,the project comes out really sloooowww
any suggerstions to fix this?

yes it happens with both mp3 render and wave

it happens either with mp3 render or wave rendering at 16/44.1 selected
i have project also setup at 16/44.1
the strange thing is that is sounds fine during project playback..

See right there under Audio Engine Output? That should be at 44.1/16 bit. :D

yes i changed that but no diference
as stated project playback is fine
rendering slows down the file in wav as well as mp3
help is appreciated to solve this mystery

The slowing down problem is because you have sampled at one rate and are rendering at another. How or why you are doing that is anyones guess; like I'd guess you open with the same old template and are still sampling at 48, but it's only a guess. Check the files in your pool and look at their sample rates. They ALL have to match. If you have the option you should be tracking at 24 bit too.

If you check the pool and they are all 44.1, then open a new project and import them again and start over.
 
Here's another guess. You are using your original files and you need to change them to 44.1 in the pool and re-import them into the project.
