Hi!

Im looking for a good software to record at home.Mostly guitar and voice. Usually i use mixpad, but its not enough for me!!

What are the options?my computer is new, i think he handles the most programes.

Thank you

Reaper. $40US.

Reaper is going to probably the general consensus for a low cost first DAW. It is good too. Search the forum for topics like this. I know it's been covered over and over again. And we like it better when you search before posting ;)

Reaper, Cubase, ProTools, Sonar, StudioOne......take your pick. They all do basically the same thing. Most of them have demos that you can download. If you like it, buy it.

All those other DAWs are gateway daws to Reaper. :D

But in all seriousness, an amazing program. I like it better than Cubase and Sonar.

Here is a list to start with:

I think finding the right program for yourself is fairly easy, you only need to ask and answer a few questions to give you some guidance:

1. What operating system are you running
2. Do you face any limitations because of your computer's capabilities?
3. Know your budget
4. Know your priorities
5. How often and where are you planning to use this software?

Read all the little details, explanations here Choosing the right multitrack software
would be way too long to post here all the little details I believe...

I hope this helps
