Hey everyone,
I am new to this forum KIND of, but I haven't been on this for a while. I've had few thoughts about making a studio in my garage, but it soon failed due to school and not enough time. Well, I am back at the stage of cleaning my garage to create a little home "recording" studio / booth. I am going to be using half of it, which would be enough room for maybe a little area for the mic, and a table with the computer and such. I'm not looking for those $2,000 recording studios with all those interfaces and such. I'm just looking for a MXL V67G with maybe a cheap audio interface and a computer with REAPER + FL 9 (Which I already have). I don't want to spend a lot of money, maybe 200$ for the V67G and an interface. All I want to do is record "rap" music, edit it up, and publish it on youtube, maybe eventually a CD to play in the car. I'll post a few videos on what I expect from the V67G later, but anybody have any tips on how this should be down? Any good cheap audio interfaces for one mic, and enough power so I can receive 0 lag from the words to the mic through the headset (I forgot what this is called). Thank you for your time and reading this.

How music is expected to sound like: (?)

Search this in youtube since I am not able to post URL's.
" Full Throttle Micah B " and It is the first video that appears. Thank you.

Goggle up and take a look at the DMP3 for your interface.

First, there was...

"A loaf of bread, a bottle of wine, and thou."

Then, there was...

"Two turntables and a microphone."

And now, there is...

"A computer, a Mic, and Maybe an interface."

I call that... progress!:)
