Okay I want to buy a microphone only for vocals but I'm on a budget I have about $250.00, and I've narrowed it down to the Akg perception 220 or the rode nt1-a which I've heard are good mics for the price so which one should i get? I'm recording r&b,vocal harmonies, and Rap. There's one thing i've heard about the rode nt1-a mic that it's a great mic,but that it's weight is extremely light does that make a difference on the quality of the mic? thx for the help.
