Actually, it has been used. They were around for about 5 years in the 90's.

Damn! I know RAMI someone else told me too..

Eventually we will have to start naming bands as we name new stars ~ Oh! Oh! have you heard the 3 cord structure that is now being performed by RT111-H4f? I just can't get enough of them until next week when I think 64J-ur55 is due out with a remake of ttt7-O8OP's 3 cords.

Hell in a hand basket! that's where and how. :(

According to Bill Wyman, the Stones weren't the first band to use that name; once they got famous, this really square pub outfit turned up and said 'you knicked our name !' and the Stones didn't dispute it. There were also two Skid Rows. And Alice Cooper was called the Nazz then Todd Rundgren's group of the same name released their debut album which is how they changed to Alice Cooper {which, incidentally was the name of the band, long before Vince Furnier became Alice Cooper}.
And if it wasn't for the Monkees, there'd be no David Bowie. The manager of Ronnie Woods' old band, the Birds, tried to stop the Byrds using that name on their first tour of the UK, which was a bit daft given that the Byrds were smashing the charts at the time !

I tell you, there's a science to all this band naming stuff ! :D

You could use your latitude and longitude of where you live to name the band!!! That way unless you lived on the second floor above an other band no one would have the same name. And once you moved and an other band moved there they would be 45lat by 57long #2 and so on and so on. Like in the movie Logan's Run ..... I'm Logan 7.

Didn't Brian Eno Have him or someone with the same handy cap sing in his band live?
If I remember right someone would carry him out onto the stage lay him in front of the kick drum where the microphone was already laying on the floor and away he would go. kinda looked like this
