Line 6 POD XT vs. Gearbox

I have been using the Line 6 Gearbox software with my UX2 for the last few years and it has been giving me okay results. I have been wondering about taking different approaches though. How much better (or worse) would using a POD XT be for guitar parts? Thanks in advance!

never tried the XT..I have the Pod 2 and its much the same as gearbox without the flexibility imo

What is your go to? I may just start micing the amp again but I wanted to look for a handier way of doing things...

in an apartment I dont have that option...not sure I would anyway..


my go to's overlouds TH-1...Ive no idea if its the best out there but I prefer it over the pod or gearbox/podfarm

In fact I wish more people here had tried it because I really like its sound but Ive no idea if anyone else does??
