That lifetime warranty might be worth it if you are absolutely uncaring about how you treat your equipment and are prone to slamming your cables in car doors, running over them with trucks, or using them to tie stuff down. If you take reasonable care of your cables you'll most likely never need that warranty. The fact that most folks never use the warranty is why they can afford to offer it; that, and the fact that their cables are so overpriced.ok........
Still doesn't negate the fact that they make good products and have a lifetime warranty.
I have well-built but inexpensive cables, and I don't do anything special to take care of them besides rolling them up (velcro ties - no knots) and throwing them into my gig box. I haven't had a single cable failure beyond what could be fixed by a 10 minute soldering job in over 20 years. YMMV.
