A good guitar?

When it comes right down to it we are both kinda stubborn...but if I see a link from say a company that has done 20+ years of research or a 160+ yo guitar company...Ill admit that Ive learned something and walk away.

you have been faced with that sort of thing in multiple threads and take the stance that you are right and all of those companies are wrong...those companies are right...thats why they are global successes and we are just posting on the internet.

Getting personal and starting threads about me not being able to walk was just your way of dealing with it...

instead of just posting your own links proving yourself like any other member could have done...if such links exist...if it doesnt...you have to admit you are wrong.

That is the real problem I have with you.

Ill even campaign to try to get Legion back...he said something in the heat of the moment and I know what that is like.

Well seeing as how we have more or less cleared up the plagiarism thing and pwnd the fuck out of you to boot. Perhaps you'd do us all the courtesy of pointing us to these five or six different companies that make tuners that slip and then post some links to show the mechanics involved. I'm still intrigued to see how these companies you speak of do it..

So far you have come up with nothing and five or six respected members here have put you right on the subject of strings slipping. It doesn't matter how many times you say it, arguing against mechanics and physics is rarely successful. Unless of course you have made some major research break through you'd care to share with us.

So here is what we will do. You post those links. We'll all pwn your ass some more and then you can move on to a proper apology for the vile threats you aimed at innocent women and children. Sound good?

That sounds much more reasonable, you should go ahead and apologize to muttley for the family stuff and call it a done deal.

No it isn't he still insists that companies make tuners that slip. Lets see the proof. OK munchdude.

Not to spoil all the fun - and there's alot of it here! :laughings: - but somewhere at the heart of this is a n00b who wants his first electric.

On that note, I suggest the most entry-level Yamaha; I'm pretty sure they do a model below the 112 Pacifica. Great sounds and playability.

Carry on!
Ive seen some good guitarists who love those Yamahas...and in every major city there is a JC Penny discout outlet that sells them as catalog returns...Ive seen them as cheap as $30 each if you can do a little repair.

Havent you learned anything...it doesnt matter what some anonymous person says on an internet forum...what matters is what the credible resources say.

You should try just talking like somebody who is at least pretending to have an ounce of integrity instead of acting like you are on the Jerry Springer show...anyone can cave it up and post like a madman...you are not going to impress me by doing that.

OK lets see your credible resource then. Fuck sake it's like pulling teeth. The very last thing I give a fuck about is impressing anyone least of all a someone who has threatened to sexually abuse my kids.

I posted them the first time you asked for them...you just said that they were BS...even though the souces were the Sperzel...Gotoh...Grover...and Schaller tuning companies.

Now to get back to the reason why we clashed in the first place...what makes you think that you know more about guitar tuners than they do???

Darrin/Wayne:

I'm only quoting this particular post so that you'll see this is directed at you; it applies to virtually everything you've ever posted, but I'm not going to waste 6 months quoting all your drivel.

In these back and forth flame wars, language gets so vile that we actually become numb to what should be bracing insults. So I'm going to take the opposite approach and just be straight--not that I have any hope you'll listen; I just want to be on the record:

You are an ignorant fool. (Look those words up if you must; I mean them in their most literal sense). You are an arrogant, misguided blowhard.

Ignorance is annoying, but often tolerable. Belligerance is offensive, but also often tolerable.

At almost any level, the two of them combined are absolutely intolerable. You proudly possess both in spades. Ergo, you are beyond intolerable.

Unplug your computer and go away. Now.

Sincerely yours,

Me

and right thinking people everywhere.

It would be nice if they would both just let it go. STFU already nobody cares, grow up.

I've dug up plenty of old posts for you to reflect on. Do me the courtesy fuckwit and chuck em up again so we can get this pwng over.

"You must spread some rep."

That was probably the single greatest bitch-slapping I've ever seen on the internet.

EDIT - he's right, though, Darrin. It's possible to have heated conversations on the internet without being a prick, and it's possible to be wrong every now and then without really losing face. It's when you combine the two, being wrong AND being a prick, that you become very tough to deal with. Insisting you're right, offering no substantive reasons for that, and then when other people start disagreeing getting personally offensive and lamenting how "random people on the internet" shouldn't be considered credible and making yourself out to be some kind of a victim is just, frankly, kind of annoying.

I've been wrong on occasion before - there's no shame in that, as long as you learn from it and become less wrong in the future. What you're doing is staying exactly as wrong as you've ever been, but just becoming more offensive to compensate and hoping no one notices you're still wrong.

Yeah I have a daughter so what? Words on a screen dude. Calm down.

Sorry can't do that for you, but then again why should I your wife and kids haven't had their integrity bought into question for no reason on a public bbs for perpetuity have they. As I have always said, call me what you like but my wife and kids. No way mate. Sorry about that I hope it hasn't ruined your day too much.

see what you started rightroad1Dude

Maybe this'll teach you to ask a guitar question in the guitar forum.
