SirN lent his fantastic shredding talent for the solo to give this one the icing on the cake!:)
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, your Lordship!!

First mix of it, so tell me what you think needs improving (and no, it's not a christian song...:D).

Thanx for any help you can give.

Joey :)

I can't believe I'm gonna type this, but the kick is a little too loud. :D

That might be a first. ;)

Distorted rhythms could come up a bit.

The solo is way loud and stomps all over everything. The super wide panning is cool, but it's a little distracting. It may work with the lead sitting in the mix better.

Vocals are great as always.

Hehe...thought you might say that......I love thumping kicks:D
This is a first fast mix so there's probably plenty I have to fix. I only got the solo from SirN a couple of hours ago....I know it's not sitting right yet.;)

Thanx for listening, Greg. Hope to have a new mix in the coming days.

I shouldn't have read Greg's comments before I listened... but he's right of course. The kick is a bit much...

I really like how the bass sits in the mix. Fills out the bottom end really nice.

The vocals are great, of course.

I am listening as I type, so I am waiting to have my head shaved clean off by SirN's guitar...

Oh, and there it is... :D

Great playing, and once the solo is brought down a dB or two, wow...

Great tune, Joe. I can't wait for the remix.

Oh, and just a personal taste thing, but the last time you sing "NO REDEMPTION", when you take it into the stratosphere, it would really sound cool with a lower harmony vocal under it...

Jesus you sing well. It's a pleasure to hear your voice, man. It's the type of voice and delivery I hear in my head when I'm writing many of my tunes. But, I can't sing anywhere near that. Great SirN solo, too.

I agree with the other mix comments.

This tune remids me a bit of this tune. I bet nobody's ever heard of this band. One of many unknown Canadian bands that never really broke through. It's gets heavy a couple of minutes in. Your singing reminds me of him, especially when you start wailing.

Sounds great on my system, maybe you've posted changes already. Tons of energy in the vocals, SirN's solo is awesome. Good job!!! Kickin'.

Sounds really good, Joey! Ya know... You program drums really well. Probably one of the best on here. That said, the end programing seemed to be a bit claustrophobic. It's a seriously tiny nit, but being a drummer, that's the first thing I focus on. One or two of the fills toward the end just come to be a bit much.

The kick, IMO, is only too loud during the verses when the guitars are quieter. Just bring the guitars up a tad, and I think it'd be perfect.

As mentioned, your vocals are astounding. Seriously, dude. Those high notes were SO well done. Kudos, kudos, kudos.

I listened to the whole thing three times, and then I had to stop to continue working.

Thanks for sharing!

You must have remixed this because the solo is nowhere near loud enough...
I think you need to bring the guitar solo parts up to match the level of the vocals.
I didn't know SirN could wail like that :)
Amazing vocals as always.....

Thanx Eddie!
I'll be taking care of that stuff......;)

Hey you do pretty well yourself on vocals, Rami, and I love listening to your stuff....;)
That's a real good band there, singer reminds me a lot of Steve Perry. Man, there must be hundreds of good bands that people don't know about.
Really appreciate your comments, bro!

Nope, no changes yet, Dave. I guess it depends on one's listening environment. But I do think that the kick is a bit loud on hearing it again.
SirN kicks ass!
Thanx for the comments!

I know what you mean with the ending, Jason. I don't know if a real drummer would play those fills that way, but I was looking for a climax. I've played with some real hectic drummers in my time though (you know, the kind that keep on playing when a song stops....:D)
Thanx for the nice comments!

No, still no remix, Gerry. The lead parts in the second verse might need to come up a bit, but I don't want them that loud 'cos they're just fills.
Yeah, SirN is a great hidden talent. When I heard his solo on Dogman's song, I just had to ask if he'd play on mine. He did a great job. We should get him to hang around here more often.....:D
Thanx for the comments!

I love the twinned parts - so Queen/Thin Lizzy it tingles!
Very moody verses - I can't say I agree with the turn the kick down folk - though I might prefer it with a little less click.
I lstened to this earlier & had to go downstairs & bang away at a guitar for a while - I was enthused.
Good lyrics & a really classic vocal delivery.
Cool metal!

Thanx Ray, always glad to inspire....:D
Lyrics are kind of outlaw biker road movie type.
Our most recent lyrics collab should be ready quite soon. ;)
