Man, I love this song, and you did an amazing version.

Drums seem a bit buried, but not that much. Great sound though!
Thanks. I haven't listened on any other systems yet, so it's very possible the drums could stand to be louder. Louder drums is never a bad thing! :D

Thanks for commenting.

I had to listen the original version to know it - sorry, but I´m far from be a fan of this "The Who" band...

Your version is far better, Greg.Pretty good job.

Ciro

Thanks bro. :)

You call that Metal/Celtic fusion?? I'll show you... what? Possibly a different forum? Harmonycentral, you say? Okay, nevermind...

Funny song. Well played and the recording is pretty good, too.

Im just going to stop commenting on your shit. Its pointless.

this is tits.

This is a good take on what for me is one of the 'oo's classics. Always did love me a bit of Boris..

And Gerg does it again! Great cover dude. I remember the first time I heard this song. What did you do to get that bass tone? It's awesome.

Thanks. I have no idea what the hell you're talking about though.

Thanks, me too.

Thanks. I plugged my bass into the firepod, opened Guitar Rig, pulled up a bass head and cab, and turned everything to 10.

Do you use Guitar Rig for all of your songs? (guitar and bass)

Most of the time. I have a small small SS amp that sounds decent with a ProCo Rat in front. I use that sometimes. And I've occasionally used my bandmates big tube rigs.

Great work man. The drums sound awesome, i'm especially loving the toms. As for guitar rig, i used to be anally purist and scoffed at the idea of amp simulators, until i heard guitar rig about 2 years ago. That shit is crazy!
The guitar sounds good. I'm not sure, but my first impression was the vocals might just be a little too loud. Overall, very nicely done :)

Thanks. Yeah if I had real amps, I'd use them. But I'm primarily a drummer. I play live. I have killer drum stuff. I don't play guitar in a band, so there's no need for me to have a half-stack taking up space in my room. I don't think of guitar rig as cheating or anything because I'm still really playing, I'm just not miking an amp.

This sh!t is trippy man. Cool sound. Never heard this song before, but it sounds great to me. Love the outro. You dont hear that too much around here, an ending like that.

Great rendition Greg, you nailed it! No nits on the performamce or mix. Overall super job!

:):D:):D:)

Iv'e always loved this tune, and I think I like your version better. It's "darker" than the original, and meaner. Almost like what they wish they sounded like on this one. :D

Drums are awesome, levels are good, arrangement is really killer. Your vocal parts are really cool.

Always loved The Who...and yah, I remember the song..

You did a fantastic job with it Greg..and that accent as well...bet this was a fun one for your kids to be entertained with!:D

Man, I remember this song. Goes back a long time ago. Good job. Love the bass, lots of high end and so consistent.

One of the few exceptions where toms are upfront without sounding like Phil Collins... :laughings:

If I may I liked to ask a very pewrsonal question....

Ugh, I know. I'm about ready to scrap the whole cover idea thing. I'm thinking it just aint gonna work. Too difficult. And my artistic advisor (the wife) has been too busy to work on it. :o

Please be patient. I'm gonna go with plan B.
