Upgrading RAM in a Macbook Pro

I'd like to upgrade the amount of RAM I have in my Macbook Pro. I currently have 2 gigs, I'd like to upgrade to 4 gigs. Apple sells a memory module, which is this http://store.apple.com/us/memorymodel/ME_15_2_4_MBP_PREV , for upgrading.

Anyone ever done this before? How would I go about it, is it something I could do myself?

Save yourself some money and purchase the DDR2 RAM elsewhere. Changing the RAM is pretty easy in the Macbook Pro. Just make sure the sticks are pushed in all the way.
