i have a zed14 usb mixer and im trying to record vocals on fl studio using a at2020 mic. im running windows vista. the problem is, i dont know how to set it up so that it will record. the mixer doesnt seem to pick up anything when i tap on the mic. i have phantom power on and everything. can anyone give me some advice or instructions?

One thing that would help is that you look at the block diagram of the mixer. This should be in the user manual.

i know this seems a bit silly but do you have the gain up?

another guy had a post pretty much just like this some time ago, turns out he just didnt have the gain up...

just a thought.

Read the manual, check that the gain is up. Check that the channel is not muted. Check that it's routed to the main output.
