swing by my space if ya get a chance. But mysp has been kinda weird the past couple days so if ya can get on...cool.
It's the first tune in my list.

got really burnt on it, crammin too much I think... so it started getting kinda blurry to the ears so whatever ya have a comment on is good by me.

Dog, this one and the other songs on your Space were wicked cool! The lyrics were funny, insightful and weird all at the same time! Cool guitar tones, loved the toms and the vocals were tight; maybe mixing them a little louder would help get the lyrics over better...But all and all, very cool my fellow Silver Stater!

Thanks for the effort Dave. ;) I'll see if I can get it posted to Soundclick tonite. I noticed the last few days mysp has been really bad. Changin some stuff on their end I guess. S'all good baby! :D

John...:) Thanks dude! Tuned in this mornin, read your comments and got a smile on my face. You know how it is...ya spend too much time on a song and it all starts soundin like shit. :p I wondered about the vocals too but I don't like my voice so I thought I'd spare some of ya the pain. :p
I'll nudge em up a bit and see if that helps.

Very cool song. The only thing I noticed was that the vocals could maybe be a tad higher in the mix.
 
Good rock with a nice funk beat. Especially like the ending... um, but not that the song ended.... ;)

The one nit I've got is I find the song a little repetitious, not that the title is suggesting it. The verse and chorus are very similar and there doesn't seem to be much of a break or change-up until the ending part. Maybe that's the way you want it, though, to kind of drive in the point of the lyrics.

I also listened to a few more of your songs and really liked them. I thought I listened to them all before, but maybe not because I don't remember hearing them before..... idk, I'm old. what can I say???

I know exactly what yer sayin about the repetitive part. I tried puttin that hi octave type short guitar riff in the chorus to see if that would help. This one just kinda happened as I was dinkin around and before I knew it, the tune was pretty much done. Then I had to figger if I wanted to go back and retrack everything to mix up the parts a little bit instead of the ending being different. I also tried doin some slice n dice to mix up the parts but...as you'd imagine, it pretty much sounded like slice n dice. :p Maybe after it sits and simmers for awhile in my head, I'll go back at it with somethin else. Different or more vocals...maybe some effects in the chorus...I dunno.
all I know now is that I'm kinda tired of it. :D

Not bad dude. I know the title clearly says "repetition" but that was way too repetitive. ;)

Pretty good lyrics and guitar sound.

I like the Metallica "Jump in the Fire" ending too. :D
 
Cool stuff. I like the mix of the heavy with funk, it reminds me a bit of the Infectious Grooves. I really like the guitar tone.
 
Thanks gents...ya got any thoughts on what to do about the rep overload? (short of retracking the whole thing) :p

I was thinkin it's cuz I'm carryin the same basic beat thru most of it. I could probably find some punch in points and change up the choruses or maybe do some other vocal stuff or guitar stuff in the chorus.

I dunno...but thanks for your ears none the less. ;)

Holy crap, Kel, thought I was listening to Zappa in the beginning. Nice raunchy guitars (how many fingers did ya use there?? :D) Great riffin', it's totally cool. Great songwriting and arrangement. Wish I could hear the bass a bit more.

Oh, did I say I really love it? Keep 'em coming! Rest of your stuff sounds totally ass-cool!
