Great song Rami - the mix sounds good to me. Your writing continues to hold that high standard that we've always enjoyed. Good Stuff!:D:cool::D
Thanx a lot IDO.
I hear obvious clipping here and there midstream into the song and I think the main vocal should be a helluva lot stronger than it is.

Other than that..........awesome! :)

Thanx for the compliment. There is no clipping in this song. You really should either get your ears checked or your monitors checked. You constantly make mixes and observations that are so way off, it's astounding. No offense, just my opinion.

With all due respect my friend. I re-opened it with Adobe Audition and confirmed that there are 5 clips on the left channel and 2 clips on the right channel.

My ears aren't as bad as you may think. It's rare that I comment here in the Clinic and I wouldn't have commented unless I didn't appreciate your music and had heard something.

I won't go out of my way to do it again.

it's that snare that makes your songs identifiable from the first few seconds. it's like your trademark. Anyway, tight playing and sounds good at all frequencies all systems are a go.

nice! After my move, I finally got my bass-challenged monitors set back up in a way that lets me listen (but probably not mix). Don't know if you adjusted anything since the original post, but it sounds great on my set up.

I'm a guitar player, so I'm not gonna complain about guitars being too loud.

*Great* job with the vocals - good lyrics, performance, harmonies, and mix. Of course, the whole thing is awesome.

You probably don't need yet another adoration-post, but that's all I've got for you right now :D

Hey, Randy, it happens - I don´t know technically why - when converting from wave to mp3, a song that , let´s say, peaks -0.3 on wave file, "looks" in the " red-cliping " when translating from mp3, but is more a "visible" thing, not a real/distorted clip.

This song has no clip issues.

Thank you, Sir. The wave file for this tune peaks at -.2. There is no "obvious clipping" going on. Some people listen with their eyes instead of their ears.

If that's all you got, I'll take it. :D

I really appreciate the nice words on the tune, man. Thanx a lot.

Rami,

Reread my posts.

I heard an obvious clipping here and there midstream when listening to the mp3 file before I analyzed the file with Adobe.

With all due respect my friend. I re-opened it with Adobe Audition after hearing it and confirmed that there are 5 clips on the left channel and 2 clips on the right channel.

I don't understand why you don't understand what I heard and saw and choose to go get all defensive.

I'd love it if my music was as good and revered as is your music is.

I heard some clipping......big fucking deal. It's not a big deal.!

Ciro,

I have witnessed that same anomoly when converting wave files to mp3 files, but I disagree with you that it can't be heard.

I feel bad that Rami got all defensive and shit. :(

I heard some clipping......

No you didn't. Because there isn't any. It's not a matter of getting defensive. It's just a fact that you didn't hear what you claim you heard.

Believe me, I've witnessed how horrible your ears are. Your mixes are ALWAYS a joke, your "critiques" are ALWAYS way off, and you've already ruined one of my tunes by "re-mastering" it and making it sound like it was coming out of a transistor radio from the other end of a tunnel.

It's nothing personal. But you posting in a thread that has to do with actual music is a waste of time for me, because your opinion in this forum really is worthless to me. So, if my response to you means that you won't post in one of my music-related threads again, then I just saved myself a lot of time and trouble by not having to read your completely useless opinion when it comes to assessing music.

It's that simple. :)

Hey Duder! Good to see you back!

I could swear you already have a song by this title. I'm not sure it's the same song though, I'll have to check.

In any case, I can hear the difference in the guitars from your norm. They don't sound bad, they just don't sound Rami! ;)

I love your vocals! This one really has you on a trampoline, bouncing all over the spectrum! Awesome!

I also love the way you slide in and out of time signatures so easily. Nice!!!!

That's OK with me, Rami.

How many other friends have you tossed aside because they don't always hear what you hear or agree with you at all times?

what's up bro?,

awesome vocals and harmonizing. I'd sell my soul to sing like that

LOL!!!!

It has nothing to do with "tossing aside friends". I'll talk to you in the Cave or anywhere else. Over here, it's just a waste of time.

Hey Jeff,

You're right about the title. I've re-used this title 3 times now, with different lyrics and music, every time I scrap a tune I don't like.

My guitar sound had to change because it sucked. It might still suck, but I think it's getting better. Not being a guitar player, it's hard for me to even KNOW what a decent guitar sound is.

Thanx a lot for the nice words, bro.

Not being a guitar player,

Wrong!! Several years and numerous awesome tunes after I told you before . . . you STILL haven't figured it out.

Dude, just because you're primarily a kick-ass drummer, doesn't mean you aren't a seriously cool guitar player.

Maybe it's just as well. If you ever figured out how good a guitar player you are . . . it would probably ruin your playing!

You rock, RAMI. :)

Dude, there was NOTHING wrong with your tone at all! Your WAY too hard on yourself. Why bother trying to get a DECENT tone when the tone you have is already AWESOME?!?!?! That would be a step backward!

In baseball, in dealing with pitchers, they're told: "Trust your stuff!" Rami, you have incredible instincts. TRUST YOUR STUFF!!!!!

Most of the tone comes from your hands anyway, so as you become a better guitarist, your tone, and I mean the tone that is currently hiding in your hands and fingers, will come out. Until then, don't fix it if it ain't broke. ;)

Good tune. I agree with GregL on the lead guitar. For me the first part of the lead is a little low. But the second half of the lead is fine. Fix the lead levels and your good to go. Well, I personally, would like it a little brighter, but my treble knob takes care of that. Hey Rami "Halo of Flies", you know it ? Its my next Cooper cover. I could use a drum track for it :)
