Cubase is baffling me!!

Hi

Ive just been given a copy of cubase 3 but I have no experience of music production at all and am completely baffled by it!

first of all i have no idea how to load a drum sample or use my keyboard(qwerty) as a........well synth keyboard if u get my drift.

Im completely at a loss and there seems to be nothing available as a step by step guide for the absoulute basics.

if anyone could point me in the right direction or give me advice i would be very grateful.

is it possible to use my qwerty as a synthesizer as i dont have an external 1?

There is a full free Cubase pdf Cubase book "Cubase SX Complete" over at www.auxbuss.com

There are also Cubase books for free at your local library or for sale at the bookstore....
