Daniel, I totally understand your feelings on this...his replies are really...um...heavy I guess. That's my emotional response to reading them; how it feels. He seems to be in a bad way, and he is also doing things that I personally feel are not right and his manner of invalidation comes from an acute offensive platform.

Not at all condoning what he did or is doing, but none of us know what we are capable of doing good or bad unless/until we get pushed to that point...not trying to be a Jiminy Cricket, but that's what's on my mind. I've done some mean and nasty things in my life that seemed perfectly justifiable at the time...the danger of relativism. I'm perfectly capable of doing it again too, and my hope is that if/when I do I don't paint a picture that Jesus is rooting my behavior on...:( My 2p...that's what jumped out at me.

All great points, Cory, and, truth be told, I thought of the exact same thing whilst this was going on. That was, in part, what made me reverse my initial action toward the seller. I actually spent a good chunk of time contacting eBay about it. Despite all my reservations about the seller, it just didn't feel right pursuing it so I dropped the issue and tried to convince eBay to do the same. I just went with gut instinct and gave benefit of doubt, as I would hope someone would give me, if I were in a bad way. That said, I truly hope that, at that time, I would be able to think with a stead head, see clearly enough not to come off sounding like that guy or, worse yet, believe all that non-sense. A sad situation indeed. One becomes introspective when something like this happens.

lets call a spade a spade

this guy is a total clown ,he takes your photo's then say's their his and say's nobody else can steal them;" but him" because he has a copyright !
I'm surprised he didn't say that the music playing was recorded on the tape deck (that he wrote )and also hold's the copyright on that! He then goes onto say he's the original owner (which he's not) and if his business is failing (which is probably a lie) it's probably because he's a dishonest ass. I have alot of resentment towards dishonest ebayers. i've been taken several times . One in particular was really unpleasant. Karma is a wonderful thing!

why do i have a hard time believing he took these photos or wrote any of the descriptions? What a clown.

Yes, he does indeed have other auctions going on http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/radioactivated and I'm pretty sure that he's just recycling others' photos and descriptions. If you want to look at it purely from an objective point of view then, sure, he's being dishonest, at the very least. I, for one, would not do business with him, whether or not his "situation" is real or fabricated.

One has to be very careful with eBay. Not only do we have shipping horror stories but also dishonest eBay sellers, never mind feedback.

who cares how do u kno he doesnt have the exact one and jus used a picture he googled//get a life man 4real
You cannot just arbitrarily claim copyright on someone else's picture, whether it came from google or not.

It's happened to me a few times, but I just take it as a compliment. ;) However, the ad should clearly state that it is not a photo of the actual item.
