Hi all,
I need to make an av show and have bought myself a neat little recorder called a zoom H2. This is to record dialogue and sound effects for a flight in a microlight (in the US you call them ultralight aircraft).
I think the best way for me to do this is to record the dialogue in good quality at home, then process it afterwards to make it sound like an intercom (and some of it like an airband radio conversation with an air traffic controller). I naively assumed that there would be some sort of standard effect filters out there that I could just 'apply' to my sound file and it would process it to sound how I want it to.
Also I need to mix this processed dialogue file with the sound effects of the engine starting up, running in the cruise and probably wind noise too. I realise that something like Audacity would do it, but is there anything simpler, as I don't really have the time at the moment to get under the skin of a big program?
Many thanks
Mike
