recording tracks with EZDrummer

If first I write a beat with a pop kit and put it on track one, and then select a Latin kit and a groove to put on track 2, I can only get the tracks to play back on one kit or the other, and not their respective kits. I need to put them on different midi tracks, or? Can somebody point me toward a clue, please?

Yes, you will need to program a midi track for each instance of EZDrummer.

Put the pop kit on track 1 and program the beat on track 1
Put the latin kit on track 2 and program the beat for that on track 2.

Thanks. But I just tried that, and both tracks are plaing back the pop kit..I'm doing something wrong, that's almost for sure. Is there something to the idea of needing to make them audio tracks, or?
