hi everyone!
im going to ask you kind of an unusual question ,saying the least:)
i want adding noise to my *.wav tracks i recorded, light hum or hiss...i'm not crazy ,i just need it to make the professional recording i made not so proffesional&more authentical...cause i have to send it as an audition cd :)
is it possible adding a constant noise (not too much) to the recordings?
thank you &sorry for the strange question...

Hi AZ,

There's a few different ways you can add hiss/crackles to your tracks. Depending on the software your using, there's some effects you can add which would do this. I used to use Cubase and once wanted to add crackles to a recording, it had 'vinyl effect' which you could put on to add crackles, pops and general vinyl sound.

If that fails, you could just record a vinyl playing or get a recording of noise and pop it on. End of the day, it doesn't have to be great quality as it's just general noise.

http://www.soundsnap.com/search/audio/vinyl/score Got plenty of crackling sounds to pop on to a recording.

Good luck,

thanx!

Combine the crackle with the .wav file you already have? Easily done in the software.. what software are you using?

and what exactly to do with it?

Wow Thanks!
And Can I Make Bouncing With That Program?or How?
