im (2) 4channel comps tomorrow so i can have a total of 8 single comps (if that makes sense)
i need 8 trs cables so i can hook them up individualy to my mixers channels inserts

what are those cables called that are trs but have two mono cables at the end that go into the i/o of the comp?

everything on ebay only has trs (stereo phono) to (stereo phono)

TRS to TS :)
thank you

Commonly referred to as an insert cable.

Yea - don't walk into guitar center and tell them you simply need "TRS to TS" cables - if they know what you're talking about (not 100% likely, sadly enough), they'll still probably sell you some sort of weird balanced-to-unbalanced cable or something like that... make sure you buy cables that break the tip and ring of the TRS side to two TS cables - as xstatic said, commonly known as "insert" cables.

They are called Insert Cables. Don't even think about buying Hosa either.:D

The problem is that if they do know what you are saying, they will sell you a TRS to TS cable which will be exactly what you asked for. It will not however help with patching outboard on an insert jack.

Like mentioned above, do not buy the Hosa cables or snakes. There is a real good chance that you will have a bad channel by then end of the first session.

if ya want a nice clean install???? then i would think about getting redco to custom build some snakes for this... you can specify lengths and which cable and connectors... way cool... and probably cheaper than GC...

well all i need is an 8 channel insert snake about 3 ft
how much am i looking at?? $$$
