4 track cassette only good for demos, while real records are made on 2" Studer?

nice tunes chad! good recordings too...I am a sucker for melancholy in music (now wait, in everything).

And to Herm: that looks like a really nice recording space!:cool:

Casa Cassette is gonna stick!! how can one top that name?? :D

Yes thats mine its just now starting to come together. WHat you see there is a 1/3 of the space. The acoustics where horrible and am just now starting to get a handle on them. The things you see hanging in the corner and above the mixer are some home made basstraps. They made a huge differance in what the monitors sounded like. Now I need to make about 6 more.:eek: All i could get out of the monitors was mush. No definition at all. And when you are allready hearing inpaired it was just a bitch to listen to the monitors.
I highly recommend if you are having trouble with bass in your mixes or what ever buy or build some traps atleast for the wall and corner behind you board in your room. You will be very glad you did.:)
