Two new tunes for your listening pleasure:

"Oh Holy Night" and an orignal of mine, "Toys"

These were recorded a few years ago, but I figured tis the season, so what the hell.

(Keep in mind that "Toys" is aimed at a slightly younger audience!)

Enjoy!

Toys....Nice guitar sounds man....the main vocals seem a bit boxxy, or the verb is creating a sound like that...maybe dry them out, or something...just a touch to let the main part sound a bit more direct. The harmony, backing vocals are sweet....they have a nice effect on them. The keys sound pretty good also....nice tune overall man....

Oh Holy Night is nice...very pretty sounding. Nice job man...

A bit of SSSSSSSibilence on the vocals on Toys...... The lead vocals are a bit boxxy or maybe mid-ish... The backing vocals are pretty spot on though - they are blended well - I can't hear any problems with them. Rest of the mix is good....Who is singing backups?

I loved the lyrics. Got to say I blurted out a laugh when I heard them. It started out so pretty and sweet then....well all you readers will just have to listen....

Oh Holy Night - same singer as in Toys? Very good vocalist..... The Power and Glory part on the end was sweet....

Just on a personal preference note, I'm not digging the percussion in this (mostly the bongos). Maybe I'm just not used to hearing this I'm just a old boot....haha..... Harmonies are excellent again...mix is great....

Thanks for putting some Christmas spirit in me today....

Listening to O Holy Night right now. It's different -- I'm liking it a lot. Ooh, that high note was a little painful. Can't win 'em all, I suppose. Otherwise very enjoyable!

I laughed at "Toys" too. :)

Thanks for the comments. That's my wife on the backup vocals in Toys and lead vocals on "Oh Holy Night." The percussion was basically what I had lying around at the time. We had done just guitar and vocals on so much, we wanted something else in there.

Thanks for the listen! :)

Thanks dog. I know the lead vox are too wet. I was just learning how to use my recorder at that time and didn't know how to control it as much as I needed to.
