Thanks Daniel, had some PC-issues yesterday when posting.
Were planning more pictures but didn't work..
Yes, this 3340 has been a on/off project for awhile now, but finally ready.
Going to a new home but almost kept it for myself. :p
One of the nicest I ever had Daniel so took some pictures of this beauty.
Not often you find a deck this old with less then 5 % headwear + all original documents and box included.
Found this in CA and bought it from the first owner since new. :)

The new owner is antsy so packing it this weekend for him, found a good home for this nice deck Daniel.

This is borderline pornography!

But seeing as there was no centerfold, I guess I won't report it! :p

Nice machine and excellent restoration job, Rolf! :)

Cheers! :)

Thanks for sharing the picts with us, Rolf! :)

Btw, from what I've seen in the way you pack, the buyer should be calm and relaxed. Tell him I said so ;)

Thanks guys, next time I put a naked women next to the deck.
But remember to look a the reels and nothing else. :p :D
Yes original box and a new box around supported with styrofoam panels should keep it safe for the trip. ;)
Had 2 decks came in last week with damage..poor packing.

Wow, real nice. Looks like mint. I had a Teac similar to that but I think it was the SX. That's not to say it looked as minty as THAT.

I got that 22-4 last week and the guy did a real good job at packing. :)
I got lucky on this one and it only needed a capstan belt and it was up and running like new. He even had one in the box for it. :)
It also came with a rx-9 dbx unit but Its got a problem in the power supply.
One of the fuses was bad so I replaced that but All I get out of it is a hum in the machine and a reading of about -5 on the meter when I turn it on.
All of the relays work and the system lights come on but it just wont work. Its above me for repair so I dont know what I will do with it.
Any Ideas? I dont want to put it on ebay as one of those sold as is deals know well that it wont work and stick someone with it.

I guess I cant complain to much for a total of 116.00 bucks for a nice recorder.

I was looking at the same machine Herm.
Not sure how the DBX got screwed up like that, did he connect it wrong and mixed up in and out maybe ?

That could be. The only thing is he had a chart to tell him how to hook it all up. Oh well Cant complain to much I knew there where some problems to start with and the dbx unit was just an extra.
Also in case anyone should run across one I need a capstan motor and control board for a 22-2. It is the same one that goes in all of the 30 series machines and twenty series. I robbed one out of one of my 22,s to fix a 34.
