Recorded to a Fostex X-3 w/ a TDK SA-X cassette. AT 2035 into a Tube MP, bypassing the Fostex preamps. Mixed into Logic Pro. Reverb and EQ. Done.

I imagine you've heard of his band from back in the day: Devo.

But his soundtrack on that film is awesome (IMO). I'm sure the bubbling sound effects in your piece helped to conjure up that in my mind, but in general, the composition was reminiscent of it. And I really love that soundtrack.

Yeah, i heard of Devo :e
The Life Aquatic songs are indeed similar in "concept"; more electronic sounding though.
I recorded acoustic drums at normal speed and played them back at high speed, which resulted in a somewhat electronic sounding beat too, i guess
