...the CM-4 was offered in two versions...the stock OEM chinese version (same as the Cascade Elroy and the CAD Trion 8000)...later Peter offered a limited edition version with upgraded caps and a set of NOS tubes, for varying performance...not a bad starting point for a basic tube LDC mic...certainly not in the class of the CM-6...not even close in it's stock version...
...hang tight...more will be available in a couple of days...

...the only similar mics will cost you a whole lot more dough (Advanced Audio CM47 - $735, and the Peluso 2247 short body - $1299)...if you really want a CM-6, send an email to Peter requesting the next offering date...his email address is on the stellarmics.com link...

With shipping and duties on top of the actual price, that mic would cost me $430 + by the time I got it home.
Just a bit rich for a young brand.
I certainly did think about it though.
If I ever come across one second hand, I'll probably go for it.

no kidding! me too. I wanted a couple of the CM6s but always missed out on it.
Yup the 6s are cool but I have PLENTY of tube microphones (what the heck a few more couldn't hurt) but I've been waiting on the 5s a LDC!
