gent's i loaded a session i have been working on ,and some of the tracks are shaded white ,you can see the outline box where the wave forms should be , as well as the region description but that's it also in the lower right corner of the counter window , the delay marker is red...

I am looking for a 1" 8track machine (there hard to find locally) however there are much more 16 track 1" machines i understand the theory of the wider the track width the better sonically.........but...........if you record the bass(for instance) on 2 tracks of the 16 track recorder...

i just bought a tascam M 216 mixer. How can i hook this up if there is only rca input's... but no outputs on the back of the mixer. There has to be a way to get the signal back to my tascam tsr 8. My fostex board had rca's for imput and output. This tascam board only has rca input ,1/4 input...

friends, I bought a brand new reel of 1/2" RMG put it on my tsr 8 and after 4 minutes of recording the tape path was covered in oxide ofcoarse the quality of the track i put down is horrible so does this mean the tape i just bought is defective? thanks:
