I figured it out gentlemen! I proudly (ha) announce my first song posted here... The mix was expertly performed with Radio Shack headphones. Don't try this at home folks, even the professionals get burned sometimes- as in this case. Did it on a Fostex 8-track. Any and all feedback graciously...

It's time I learned how to use the auto punch function for this machine. Thing is, if it's as complicated as the "erase track" or "erase data" function, I'm screwed. I followed the manual in the "erase data" section and it did not work. Someone here on the board spelled it out to me step-by-step...

When I try to erase data on each individual program, the instrument(data) remains on the track- what about that?? kmar

I bought some Fugi discs for my F-D8, and after I laid my first 2 tracks of drums, it screwed up. It sounds like "skipping" or something. I re-recorded the same drum program and it worked. Any one have any bad or good experiences with FUGI? I've never had a problem with IOMEGA discs.

I have a Marantz CD burner. When I burn CD-R's, all is well. But when I burn to CD-RW's, they won't play on standard CD players. Any thoughts on my problem? Thanks much.

I have a Fostex FD-8. When mixing to DAT, what do you think is best between the following options: 1. Mixing digitally with the light pipe at 41k? 2. Mixing analog at 48k. Does mixing in the analog mode help to "warm it up" any? Of course with the first option, I can dump to CD and stay...
