Hey fellas. Plugged in my h.m strat the other day after not playing electric for mannny years and got inspired to start playing again. Was messing around with some spur of the moment improv tonight (both the lead and rythmn). Anyone getting any decent sound out of gtr3?

Any comments on how yall pan your ish? Do you go for that live type feelin pan, or do it differently? I never get a nice mix from conformity of the norm(ie vocals slightly right, drums stereo,bass a lil to the lef, etccccccc.)Tell us how you personally do it.( I try never to stick to one process)

In my opinion, noone knows what a hit is before it's that. It all depends on how the people who" buy" take it. I make tracks and I'm like dammmmmmnnnnnn, and then other people hear them, their like, "yeah its aight", and next man is like WHAT! In reality a hit can only be determined in babylon...

How do I move parts around without landing on the measure bars? (ie in 4/4 I want to move a part to start in between the ticks)

I tried getting some opinions on mics in the microphone section, but as every other time I ask a question up in there, everyone goes off on some other trip. Anyone USE a at4033, c-1, or c-3 in here? Any comments on these mics? It'll basically be a vocal mic, with some acoustic instruments, but...

Here are the ones I'm looking at, the At4033, studio projects C-1, or C-3. Any suggestions? It will be used mostly for vocals, and the odd acoustic instruments. And any thoughts on the blue tube mic preamp?

I have an sr-16 that I've had for about 5 years, and I lost all my programs because the battery died, I cracked it open, and the battery appears to be soldered on! Anyone know how to go about changing this damn thing??
