Well, I was trying to disable usb on my Dell, which is only for audio. I can disable the usb hub but when I disable the Universal Host Controller then I can get the machine to boot up. It just hangs out on the startup screen. Anyone ever have any problems like this?

CE performs pretty damn good on my machine but I am always looking for ways to improve performace. Do any of you know any tricks of improving perf with CE Software tweaks. Like, turn this off...do this...etc. For example. By disabling undo will this give you any performance increase?

Hey all! In one of my studio machines I am using a lexicon core2. Right now I have everything running on a 7200 rpm EIDE. Would I get better performance out of the machine if I installed a second hard drive for the OS even if it is only a 5400 rpm hard drive? Or should I just leave it alone?
