how much diff will it make?? just got rooked at best buy im thinkin... finally bit the bullet and got a wd green 500gb internal. was already feeling kinda bad that i THOUGHT it only had 16mb cache instead of 32....... now i get home and the damn thing has 8 mb cache stamped on it !! friggin...

why does my old roland sp -808 make most of my software still sound bad?? just dloaded reason 4 and there are very few sounds and esp drums that sound as good as the factory sounds that came on the demo disk?? my puter is an athalon 64 x2 4000, running vista, 2 gig ram and a delta...

stock drive came with 320 gb....i think its divided into 2 drives c and d.... c has os and music programs on it and ive tried to put all of my pics, etc on the d drive.... im down to 2 gig left in c, and 15 gig left in d of 112 gig total for each.... thinking about getting another internal...

wasted about 3 hours of my life.......never again.......guess they want you to pay 40 bucks just to try out their multi thousand dollar collection.....no thanks....

just dloaded stude 11 demo.....big mistake....i really hate to say it, but it makes the audio on mixcraft sound like poo-poo.......i had both open, ran the old test 123, same mike, same levels , same everything thru both......stude absolutly sounds about 10 times better....the reverbs and efects...

ive got an older dbx 1066 that i have been using as an insert,then , sidechained to a dbx eq for vocals....akg c 1000s mike going into a mackie 1402vlz ....cant seem to get the clarity im looking for...will something like this presonus studiochannel help out??? thanks ...

my old sennheiser hd 5302s are getting pretty tattered and torn as of late... whats the latest and greatest out there now that wont break the bank and sound as good, or better;) also.......what do most of you guys prefer, open back or closed back cans?? thanks........

guess its about 12 years old or so....how good of a mike is it compared to whats out there now in the same price range....cant quite to seem to get it as clear as i think it should sound when recording....

where do you guys run all of your gear at??

just fired mine up after sitting dormant for several years......the right side works fine but the left side seems to actually be REVERSED on the sliders...up is down, and down seems to be up.....beats all ive ever seen?? any ideas??
