1 man band, recording guitar, then bass, and drumming live?

I ended up buying this yesterday, and works exactly as I wanted! Guitar -> Input A, Output A -> Guitar Amp Bass -> Input B, Output B -> Bass Amp Records up to 12 minutes of loops (up to 6 minutes per guitar part and bass part, which is more than enough).. And, I can then take the output...

1 man band, recording guitar, then bass, and drumming live?

I'm assuming a looper pedal would be best for this, but I'm not exactly interested in recording loops. I'd rather record guitar in 1 take, with a full song composition... So.. Step 1: Record guitar.. guitar 1 + guitar amp = loops the whole guitar composition through the guitar amp Step 2...

    A symphonic piece.

What do you think? http://www.symphonicdrift.com/SymphonicDrift-A-Single-Victory.mp3 I added it as background music to a politically related video I created, which you can find here.

Vocalists and their "scratchy / harsch" voice abilities...

I've noticed nearly every successful rock group has a vocalist who is able to (or at least sounds like it) get that scratchy / harsch vocal sound going especially during choruses and such. I've been dabbling with my own vocals for the past couple weeks and I find that it's very smooth / clean...

    Intro / Verse Vocals, Opinions?

I've *never* tried doing vocals before, I've always just been a guitar/drums/bass/song writer kinda guy, but I decided to give the whole vocal thing a shot.. Like many beginner vocalists, I don't really like the sound of my voice if I *go all out* and sing, it's kinda too high pitched like the...

Violin Samples & Midis... Level of difficulty?

I have a few acoustic guitar songs that I'd love to add a realistic solo violin to... I have a midi keyboard and I have Garritans personal orchestra which has violins... How difficult is it to use the keyboard and learn how to "midi" to get something realistic? :/

I want an 88 full-weighted midi controller. Suggestions?

My girlfriend is a very good piano player and I want to have her start recording some stuff. Since her piano isn't the greatest sounding and I'm not even going to think about mic'ing it, I want to use samples (Synthogy), and she won't play on anything that doesn't feel as close to as a real...

Is it possible these vocals were done with something like Symphonic Choir? [Audio]

Everything Always Moving - Click the green play icon button to the right of the name. Then scroll past the first 25 seconds to hear the vocals. Initially I thought no way, but then I came across Symphonic Choir (Click on audio demos).. I know AU4 (that band) is heavily into digital effects so...

I'm interested in creating / molding digital sounds from scratch (like prodigy/NIN)

I'm wondering exactly how you go about creating these types of digital effects and what systems (software/hardware etc) are best for working with this type of music. Thanks!

    Reggae'ish / Mainstream'ish Song...

No vocals, anyone wanna add some? ;) Reggae'ish / Mainstream'ish Song... Aside from slightly getting off beat and jacking up the drum part in a few places, I might've also mixed it a bit too loud. I think I'm starting to finally, atleast somewhat, get the hang of this whole...
