Cool, thanks! It worked with the mouse and keyboard, and that automatically assigns a new suffix to each selected track. Now if only I could figure out how to use the 003 to do it! :)
I want to create a new playlist for all tracks of a drum kit. Is there a way to do that for all tracks simultaneously, or can it only be done one track at a time?
AND if it can be done, please tell me how to do that! Thanks!

Pretty much the 604s into each other. I know that the OHs are going to pick up just about everything, and the kick mic isn't bad. If I hit the snare or toms, though, every drum-related channel lights up.
PFL = piffel = "Pre Fader Listen". You are monitoring the audio input before it hits your faders. I don't know what other kind of gear you're using, or what your signal path is, but watch the levels on your recorder when you're tracking. If you're clipping/distorting, try lowering the level of...
Put yourself in the other guy's shoes. If you found out that someone wrote a piece based on this riff, would you feel that you deserved a credit?

Good luck! :)
I think I know what you mean. I think celebrity is just famous for being famous (or infamous). It has little or nothing to do with talent, or....anything.
Sometimes, it's by design. In the music industry? It's a huge part of the business model.
My guess is that if Jeff Beck stayed closer to...
That's exactly what I mean by celebrity. It's not like the players can't "walk the walk"--I think they're all great guitar players. At a certain point, aside from music, what separates them is how much publicity they get, and who that publicity is directed at. It's a conscious decision to hire...
Yeah. "He who is the biggest celebrity, wins." Celebrity might even be disassociated from talent, (aside from any "talent" that it might take to actually be a celebrity for any length of time). At a certain point, some players are "great" guitar players because they're famous guitar players, and...
I think those other guys were/are just better at being famous. They play styles of music that the public could digest more easily, and attracted a bigger audience. Not that they're bad at what they do--that's just not the case at all. I was fortunate enough to see all of them on stage at once...
Why can't you do a scratch track? I set up a click and record scratch guitar (my main instrument) and vocal tracks until I'm happy with an arrangement. I record drums to that arrangement, then bass, guitar(s), keys. I do vocals last.
I've often played similar styles of music with my Heritage 535 through a mid-1980's Fender Concert 1x12 combo, which has always been a favorite amp of mine. Works for me, anyway! I think you'll do well with the Blues DeVille, but it's all subjective opinion, of course. If you can, try it first...
