ZOOM H4N and the Shure SM81

Hello all,

I am a classically trained clarinetist auditioning for orchestras. I recently purchased a SHURE SM81 microphone to attach to my ZOOM H4N. Unfortunately, when I attempt to use it, the microphone barely picks up any frequency. I have explored the options on the Zoom. What do I need to do in order for the microphone to work with the Zoom?
