Does anyone know how to get the drum tracks to record on the ZOOM 1608?

Does anyone know how to get the drum tracks to record on the ZOOM 1608?

If it is anything like the 1266, it will record onto the Master track only. (I Believe!) I have the 1266, but I don't use their drum track much, just as a scratch!!!!!!!!!!
