Im looking fior an octave pedal, the more flexible the better.

I love incubus tones if that helps with any suggestions to a great octave pedal.

thanks!

I'm not saying it's my favorite, but if you want your first octave pedal and don't want to spend a bunch of cash, check out the little plastic Danelectro "chili dog" octave pedal. Thirty lousy bucks, and sounds entirely worthy - I think it sounds and tracks better than the (costs three times as much) boss octave pedal. Not that it's exactly dripping with vintage vibe, but the thing's a steal for $30 and I'm sure you'll love it.

The "French Toast" octave UP pedal is a blast, too! Great, cheap toys.

I've only used one, and all it does is output a low buzzing squarewave, that you can mix in a high buzzing square wave with. I'm not sure it's broken, but it's certainly strange. :)

EBS Octabass is the best one I have tried, and together with the EBS BassIQ envelope filter pedal it is also one of the most entertaining pieces of gear that I own! It's quite expensive though, but as they say: Buy cheap, but twice...

BwwaaaAAAaaawwoo!!! :D

(Check out http://www.ebs.bass.se, they even have quite a few sound samples!)

If you want something flexible, get a pitch shifter... the Digitech Whammy is one of the best. My friend got rid of his Whammy on ebay and bought a TC Electronic G Major instead, which does all the pitch shifting/harmonies that the Whammy did along with a million other effects, but that runs for at least $400.

YES! on Whammy

I'll second the nomination for the Whammy pedal. Not only does octaves and harmonies, but has seperate outputs for the 'dry' and shfted signals.

i had a Whammy once and thought it was useless, I thought the range and versatility was aweful, I so bad wanted to love that pedal, maybe i had a dud though????

Any other great octave pedals, price is not an issue either!
