Here's a funny story - I play it through the cheap office PC Labtec speakers and I'm like what the heck, didn't I say cellos were on the RIGHT!?!?! Then I realize my speakers are reversed. Never noticed before, they've only been set that way three years or so . . .
So through the Sony headphones, only a couple of tweaks. Really this is quite good, can't wait to hear it in the mix.
- Double the violin part, you can use a stereo chorus effect with the left side hard left and the right side about 9:00 left. Also double the cellos, they shouldn't sound overpowered by the basses.
- The winds should be centered.
- I can't decide about the timpani. I mean they are on the left, but in a concert hall the sound carries so much it sounds more centered. My studio is down right now, so I can't check it on my monitors, and I can't tell on headphones, but keep it mind you may want to center them some.
