ok... this is new problem Ive never run into before..

Ive gotta get these three songs from my latest project onto disk to start booking pre-release... BUT! this is happening.

Ive got the traks all ready to go... 441, 16bit, normalized and dope, theyre sitting in CD architect and when I emulate play from there, they sound fine. but I record to disc, and they come out about a quarter step slow...pitched down and everything. Ive tried different cd writing progs... Ive got a RICOH 7040a BTW, and Ive never had trouble before.. AND I can write older songs no prob. its just these three songs...

HELP!

xoxoxo
PS I mastered them at 48000 and had to convert down to 441, could it be there? but they are right when I play them from HD... just slow from CD!!

Are you sure they were actually converted to 44.1? Load the files in a different .wav editor and check the .wav's sample rate. Try playing them in the other .wav editor, too. Maybe you converted the .wav's sample type to 44.1 (the data within the file telling the computer "play me at 44.1"), but the audio data wasn't time compressed, you know what I mean? I know this can be done, so maybe that was it..
