Dragon, Rick may have acted like a jerk.......but don't over-react. Keep it in perspective...
"You must spread some reputation around before giving it to Dogman again."
Whether or not there are stickies isn't a big deal. Neither was Fitz's drama-post complaining about it.
Seems that most of those with an edgy style are gone. Too bad because, despite their abrasiveness, they kept a lot of the real dysfunctional stuff in check.
I've been with hotmail for years, and yes i do get the occasional spam, but it's mostly from sites I've signed upto, or whatever. I get a few per week, but it's not loads.hotmail is horrible for spam... I tried an experiment once and made a new hotmail address, gave it to nobody, sent no messages, etc. Just logged in to it every so often to make sure it wasn't deleted...surely, a few months went by and it was getting a fair share of spam... go with gmail or something like that, never had much in the way of spam there.
Pull the fucking stick out of your ass....![]()
If that's the best you have to say guess what my answer is................![]()
How would you sort someone ignoring you? Imo, large red lettering, head in a bag, dismembered torso of a man in his late fifties, is the best way to get attention. You see, thats how mature adults sort out their grievances. No large red lettering, no head in a bag, no dismembered torso of a man in his late fifties...
...I get over 1,000 pieces of spam email a day, so it's quite likely that things he wrote me got lost in the shuffle...
Anyone ... is welcome and invited to PM me...
Sheesh is right...Sheesh...

Damn, man; how'd you find out about the dismemberment? Is that similar to being banned? Getting rid of a member./......?![]()
Let's be realistic. Questioning the parentage of the site operator in explicit vulgar terms and suggesting various anotomically impossible acts of onanism in bold 16 point typeface isn't really "edgy". It's kind of psychotic. Perfectly appropriate in the Cave.
There's a hundred ways Rick could have posted this that wouldn't result in a ban or even a warning. Rick chose to do it this way. Life's all about choices, isn't it?
Sorta how I feel about shit like this...Rick was out of line...we'll call him an asshat. There might have been a better way to deal with the situation besides banning. If everyone got banned for being an asshat sometimes, then 90% of the board would be banned, and the 10% remaining would be too intimidated to post their real thoughts.HR has for the last couple years been tolerant of aggressive vulgar confrontational behavior as long as it didn't include physical threats. Even when it included stupid insults. That was a good thing IMO as musicians are generally passionate people with sometimes less-than-ideal tactfulness or verbal finesse. I saw many times where the "general will" of the group effectively moderated extremes of behavior simply by their comments. How many instances can you remember where someone said something way out of line, like Fitz's thread, and member after member would chime in, saying essentially, "hey man, that's not the way to do it", the OP would re-state their thought in a more tactful way, apologies would go back and forth, and all would be well. To be realistic, banning a long-time member with many good contributions because of one bad post isn't good judgment IMO. Are you only as good as your most recent post? Have you ever said anything angry and insulting at HR? Many of us have.
Anyway, I'm done with this.
Too right! Dragon has helped me before, after I pm'd him, and for that I'm thankful. But he has ignored Rick for years, and i do agree with what Rick was asking for.Why bother?![]()
