Yamaha Motif 8 question

My friend has bought one of these devices and would like to be able to just get the music from the board into a computer so he can burn some cd's.

What is the simplest way (easiest) for him to do this. He is basically computer illiterate.

Any help would be appreciated.

Simplest way -

Audio outs left/right into left/right of computer audio interface into your favorite recording software.

I friend wants to dump it to PT lIte anf then put some vocals on the tracks.

What audio card would you suggest that will allow analog or the litepipe and have a mic input for recording vocals??
 
A soudblaster card will work. If you want quality get higher end cards from Guitarcenter. They range from $100 and above.
However, these are also high maintenance cards. It's takes time to configure them on your PC and will require your attention from time to time. If you are up for the challenge you can get an 'Maudio' card or a MIA card.
