Hi, I am considering a purchase of the Yamaha MG82CX Mixer, but my decision hinges on one thing.
My question is this: If I am listening to, say, Channel 1 of this mixer via headphones, and employ the mixer's built-in reverb effects... would the signal sent from the EFFECT SEND jack be dry, or would it contain the built in reverb?
Basically, I want to monitor a channel with reverb, but send a dry signal of that channel into my laptop for recording, from the EFFECT SEND jack. Can this be done?
Thanks so much for any tips. I'm trying to avoid using 2 seperate mixers, if I can.
