I bought the Yamaha audiogram 6 and it came with Cubase ai4. Got everything going fine, recorded a short 7 track song about 1 min long...sounds great. Next day I started recording first track of another project....fine. Layed down 2 more tracks and started to hear crackles. When I recorded the tracks I made sure my levels were good. It seems the more times I listnen to it the more crckles and pops I can hear. It does it on every song now,and Im just doing short experiment songs...1-2 minutes,3-4 tracks. whats happening? Im new at this, I know Iv'e got a lot to learn. I have nothing else running on computer at the time either, just cubase. Please help.

Ok got it figured out.....bumped up RAM and played around with ASIO buffer. Works great now.

that's a good pc, i'm surprised you needed more, uless ur running vista. I was just looking at the Audiogram 6, so how do you like it?

I like it alright now. You can't beat it for the price I guess. But still I will probably go firewire next time. I still have sooooooooo much to learn.
