eyeslikefire I CAN SMELL EM! Jul 3, 2002 #2 XLR is a 3 pin balanced microphone input capable of sending phantom power to condenser microphones. As far as I know, ULN is a term that Beringer uses to discribe their "ultra low noise" circuitry. I've never heard of a ULN mic input though.

D drummerdoug86 New member Jul 3, 2002 #4 So when Behringer says ULN, does that mean they are describing there XLR inputs?
dachay2tnr One Hit Wonder Jul 3, 2002 #5 Just a guess, but they are probably descibing their pre-amps which are most likely common to the the XLR input connections. Similar to Mackie's XDR (eXtended Dynamic Range) trademark for their pre-amps. IOW, marketing hocus-pocus.
