this is the first time i've asked this question after wondering for sooooo long, but never had the guts to ask. Do any of these abbreviations mean anything or are they just model numbers? THANKS

Sometimes, in guitar amplifiers the number is an indication of the wattage (usually the lower line stuff)

Sometimes in mixers the number is an indication of the number of channels.

Sometimes the numbers are just rubbish and mean absolutely nothing.

If those numbers happen to be on a 25 watt guitar amp with reverb, then they mean something, if they are on another amp they are probably just a model number assigned to the unit by whoever made it. There doesn't seem to be a standard series of abbreviations but a few fairly common ones are.... "R" often means the unit has reverb, "X" is used to indicate the unit has built in effects, "DX" for digital effects, "G" for guitar amp, "B" for bass amp, "C" for chorus. These and others are used and seem fairly obvious, sometimes model numbers have nothing to do with an amp's ratings.

thanks guys, i feel better now phew glad i got that question of my chest :)

i listened to your music btw, thought your songs were fun Dani but i couldn't hear Kevins at all? I'll double check again to see if its my computer but other soundclick songs are going through so not sure what it is, well anyways thanks again
