Hi, I just purchased a Xenyx 1204 and am using Adobe Audition 1.5.

I can get it to record, but using the pan on the mixer becomes a problem. When the pan knob is in the center or toward the left (no matter how much), it is recorded equally in both channels. However, when I move it to the right, it becomes quieter in both channels until it doesn't record at all (all the way on the right).

Does anybody have experience with this mixer and software together? Did they find a way to integrate the two pretty well?

I'm not sure how much of a difference this makes, but I'm using Vista.

OK, well I tried using Adobe Audition 3 (I really prefer 1.5, but decided that maybe it just wasn't right for the Xenyx) and used the ASIO4ALL re-wire. That fixed my panning problem... now I just have to figure out how to assign each track on the mixer to a track on Adobe Audition.

Just curious, why do you like 1.5 better than 3? (I use 3 myself)

It's probably because I'm more used to the interface of 1.5. I've been using it since it first came out and it's much simpler. 3 does have lots of neat features I'm learning about, though. I have a feeling it'll take 1.5's place once I get the hang of it.
