I don't know if you have noticed, but your life has changed drastically in the last 2 months.

Look at the people you have in your "inner circle" now.

Look at the "influences" you have around you now.

Look at the people that have been replaced in your life now.

Look at your living arrangements now.

Look at the people you are starting to meet now.

Have you noticed that every body is in some aspect of the music business?

Everything is changing around you. One of the reasons, is that you are going to an higher, strike that, different level.

I was trying to share with you that when you go from one level to the next, you have to fasten your seat beat, because you will experience some turbulence.

You did experience some turbulence, didn't you?

New CAKEWALK discovery...I'm gonna be a rock star now...pullin' out some seriously wicked guitar effects!!! SWEEEEETTT!!!

Oh but how I wish I had WAAAHHHHHHH!!!!

hey! Check this out...for some seriously STRANGE effects...hum a melody into cakewalk....then add the 'Amp Sim Lite' 'British Overdrive' Effect...tweak a few knobs and you can make your voice sound like a serious guns 'n' roses/slash guitar solo! SCHWWWEEEETTT! OK, so you gotta little knob tweaking to do and some reverb but it's definitely a HAPPY surprise...I layered it behind some traditional vox with the same melody, but a slight variation in two notes and it is...very....UNIQUE! Perfect for pulling out a HARD CORE vocal feeling....distortion...overdrive the whole 9 yards...ON YOUR VOICE!!! NICE!!!!! SCHWWWEEETTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahhhhh......I'm sure y'all are thinking 'i knew that'. But hey...this stuff is still new to me and I thought it was pretty darn cool. :cool:
 
Builder Update

Those friggin yahoos are smokin' crack and building my unit at the same time. They installed THE WRONG DAMN CABINETS and NEVER bothered to plumb or wire for the dishwasher...so they had to yank out the cabinets, break through the drywall, re-wire and add plumbing and drain system for the dishwasher, placed order for the CORRECT cabinets and now...it is ANOTHER DELAY!!! OOOOOOOOOHHHH!!! I'm getting tired of this. :mad:

General Update

DARN BUILDERS!!!

This is RIDICULOUS! They said after the initial delay that I could be closed and moved by March 15th. Just spoke with the builder today and he is now saying that's NOT possible...I was SUPPOSED to close Yesterday...and move on the 4th...NOW THEY SAY that I can't even HOPE to be ready to close until AFTER MARCH!!! Which means I HAVE TO PAY RENT AGAIN!!! THIS SUCKS!!! I HATE THEM!!!!!!!

And yes, Spin. vacation days are APPROVED!!! I'm GOING!!! I NEED TO RELAX!!!! I have put LIFE ON HOLD for the past 9 months while trying to find and buy a HOME! So, needless to say...F*$K THEM!!! I'm OUTTA HERE! I can't 'hurry up and wait' any longer!!!

WOOO HOOO!!!

hmm... we have a spare room in 2 months for only 200$ a month (including heat, water and an alive bathroom and kitchen...)



... i'm hoping the bathroom existency doesn't develop an intelligence and start praying on human souls or something... at least not untill i've left the darn place...

if i ever make it out to chicago i'm gonna have to hook up with yall. me and the misses act the fool when we go out of town.

the closest ive ever been to chicago was a huge reggae festival in rock island illinois thrown by the local brewery. 2nd largest crowd i'd ever played in front of.
