its just for a talkback mic, and i think i would prefer a condenser, so anything like under 30 bucks

Why?!?!?!?

You can get a cheap condenser with a 1/8th plug for under $30 easy.

Use one with my PC Cam.

I prefer a cheap dynamic for a talkback, one with a switch. I got a brand new Fender P-51 you can have for $20. The switch is handy so I can kill it when tracking to prevent bleed without messing with the talkback pre. I can see no purpose for a condenser as a talkback mic.-Richie

i prefer a condenser, because i want to be able to be anywhere and still have them be able to hear me, or anyone else in the room. i have a dynamic talkback mic now, but i dont like having to be at my desk to have them hear me.

pzm / boundary mic?

A pzm / boundary mic may be just the ticket if you want to be heard around the room. I have a few phantom powered audio technica ones lying around.

OK- my concern is that any mic sensitive enough to pick you up throughout the room will also bleed a lot of ambient noise into the tracking cans. But what the hell- shell out the big bucks and buy a Behringer ECM8000. $36 new, omnidirectional, more than sensitive enough to do the job. Be aware that they will also pick up your monitors and send them straight to the tracking cans, which I believe will generally suck.-Richie

where do you find it for that price, all i can find is 50 bucks

Just go to GC and wave $36 in their face. If that doesn't work, PM me and I'll pick one up for you. That'll put you at about $40 with shipping.-Richie

do you have a website or an ad that i can use for some leverage?

No, but I might be able to send you a photocopy of a GC receipt in said amount.-Richie

I've got a nice small diaphram e-1000 CAD condenser w/ hard case I'll sell it to you for 35 bucks if your interested.
