I want to make a stereo pair of these LDC's. I already have one. With or without shockmount, I don't care about that...As long as it works. I might also take a MXL 990/991 combo, but I really don't need another 991!

True, true. The 990 isn't a TRUE LDC...I belive its the same capsule from the 603. Heck, the 991 "true SDC" is just a 603 with a different name!thajeremy said:
