WTB: MSH-1 Mic

I (regretfully) sold my MSH-1A to a friend who just started recording because I didn't know the MSH store was closed for the holidays. So I thought I'd be able to get a new MSH-1O soon after.

Does anyone have one that they'd be willing to part with?

Preferably one of the old MSH-1As or the new MSH-1O.

It'll be used for acoustic guitar.

Nope. And I'm on vacation for the next week and a half. I'll hit the Post Office tomorrow to get that cord out.

The eail thing is broken...I emailed ya about 2 weeks ago...then remembered, we haven't been getting emails from here for a while.

MS, I want a pair of mics for acoustic guitar...which ones are better for that? I will order them when you open back up.

I will let you all in on a dirty secret . . . OK, it's not real secret, since my website says there will be new stuff . . . but most of my products will change next year. Just because you are all cool people, I will give you a sneak peek.

The MSH-1O, that's the currently popular omni model, is going away! Well, OK technically you can still beg me to make one, but I will charge more for it. There will be an improved replacement, but it too will be more expensive.

I am short on parts for the 1O right now, about all I can do is a batch of 1Ms. I like the 1M better personally, even if it is high output impedance and modest SPL handling, because it's quieter. The 1M will still be around next year.

So if anybody reading this wants a 1M or a pair while the store is closed, email the address above and I'll do a batch. One batch only, so let me know soon! Otherwise you can wait!
